Mary Fran Reichenberger, OSF, MSW, LICSW
I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and have been a therapist at Granite City Counseling for 20 years. My work is grounded in cognitive‑behavioral therapy, focusing on how thoughts shape feelings and behaviors. Therapy often involves broadening perspective, reducing distress, and using behavioral activation and problem‑solving skills to help clients move forward. For those who desire it, faith and spirituality can be integrated as meaningful therapeutic resources.
I work with adults of all ages in both individual and relationship therapy. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive‑compulsive disorder, adjustment issues, grief and loss, life transitions, and domestic violence.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, theater, concerts, walking, and spending time with family and friends
